Description:William Craft Brumfield is the Professor of Slavic studies at the Tulane University, where he also lectures at the School of Architecture. He is an author and a photographer of a number of works on the Russian architecture. His photographs of the Russian architecture, which have been exhibited at numerous galleries and museums, are a part of the collection of the Photographic Archives at the National Gallery of Arts. Washington, D.C. At 2002 William Brumfield was elected to the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences; at 2006 to the Russian Academy of Arts.
